So you can read my blog, or just go watch “This week on Channel9,” since that’s where all my inspiration has come from recently.

Thanks…I’m glad you decided to stay here with me.

So the Wii remote was one of those really amazing ideas.  As with most great ideas, it’s been followed by many other great piggyback ideas.  These guys have figured out a way to take the webcam and random objects to do something similar.  Oh, and it’s free!  Maybe I’ll play guitar hero now with a real guitar.

Check this out!

Pretty cool indeed.  The possibilities are endless.  I love the direction this is heading.  Any step towards “Minority Report” style computing is a step in the right direction as far as I’m concerned.  And that guy in the video using stuff taped to his fingers is pretty cool!

I mean, look at the fun I was able to have trying out some random objects as game controllers in my office!  Granted I haven’t downloaded this tool yet, so I was just holding stuff as I lost at freecell.  The cards didn’t move at all.  Oh well.

A Hammer.  Don’t play Wii tennis with this.  Bad Things.

OK, This wouldn’t work, would it?  How would it know if you moved a ball?

My favorite by far, the Swiffer.  Not only does it smell like citrus, but now your game controller can never get dusty!
