It’s an uphill battle to be sure, but Microsoft is determined to keep pace with Google in terms of search. This is especially true when it comes to adding bells and whistles to it’s search, live.com.
The latest offering, called Clearflow, is for traffic. This article from the NYTimes talks about the blood sweat and tears that went into making the algorithms that essentially guide the user through side roads and back roads based on traffic patterns, time of day, weather, and even sporting events.
If only you could combine this with your already purchased navigation system through some sort of download, now that would be something! Then again with gas being what it is, why aren’t you taking the bus?
